Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Technology team, the Foundry, as an Intern. As part of our dynamic team within the realm of government contracting, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of research and development while embedded in a team specializing in software development, knowledge graph technologies, rapid software prototyping, semantic ontologies, machine learning and other technologies. The Foundry intern will aid the team in the following areas: • Research & Development: work on technical projects both solo as well as part of a team to research, develop, and potentially rapid prototype R&D ideas. • Mobi Product Training & Development: on our built in-house big data platform called Mobi, where we are currently supporting a variety of Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies, hedge funds, and other defense contractors; experience learning about data in semantic graph technologies and the possibility to embed on the Mobi development team to further the project and learn about development lifecycle processes. • Data Science Mentorship: information sharing to gain knowledge from our data scientists on contracts to better understand the roles they fill and the path to getting data science positions in the defense contracting world. Qualifications: • Education: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. • Interest in government contracting and a willingness to learn about the unique challenges and opportunities within this industry.
