Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET applications including new services, workflows, and legacy system replacements.
Minimum 4 years of application software development with .NET technologies, database experience, system design, and full SDLC knowledge.
Job Title: Front End .Net Developer (Only Locals to NY/NJ) Duration: 9 Months Location: New York, NY Key responsibilities: System Design & Development • Analyze existing code and implement modifications to support new adjudication processes. • Design and build new services (scanning, audio recording, nightly data/letter web services). • Create workflows for remote hearings (e.g., telephone cases) and paper summons intake. • Design batching and grouping screens for processing related summonses. • Apply multi-threading techniques to improve web service performance. Coding & Application Development • Develop using .NET framework with SOA, MVC, Factory, Singleton, DAAB, EHAP patterns. • Work with ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, XML, VBScript, Dreamweaver. • Replace legacy services (IE-dependent scanning and audio tools) with modern equivalents. • Build new business reports based on requirements. Testing • Design and prepare unit test cases. • Perform unit testing, bug fixing, and deploy to testing environments for regression and functional testing. Required Skills • Minimum 4 years' experience in • Application software development • Data analysis & manipulation • Database access & structures • Programming & testing • Software conversions & deployments • Experience with multiple environments (mainframe, mid-range, PC, laptop). • Capable of leading or assisting in program specification design and software solution implementation. • .NET Framework Development (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET) coding, debugging, and maintenance • System Design & Architecture designing scalable and secure applications • Application & Database Migration moving legacy systems and databases to new environments • Third-Party Technology Upgrades experience upgrading and configuring: • WebSphere • WebLogic • Apache Tomcat • Associated drivers and interagency integrations • Browser Compatibility Development ensuring cross-browser support for Edge, Chrome, Safari • Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment • Database Experience data structures, access, and manipulation (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar) • Web Services & Integrations REST/SOAP, interagency system integrations • Testing Skills unit testing, regression, functionality, and deployment validation • Problem-Solving & Debugging analyzing existing code and implementing revisions • Technical Documentation ability to create user and system documentation • Collaboration & Communication working with technical teams, business users, and stakeholders
