Description: The Innovative Healthcare Institute (IHCI) invites applications for the position of Founding Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of Innovations in Nursing Research and Practice (INRP), a new peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the science, education, and practice of nursing through innovation and evidence-based transformation. The Founding EIC will lead the development and launch of the journal, shaping its editorial vision, building its editorial board, and ensuring the highest standards of scholarly excellence and ethical integrity. This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished nursing scholar and leader to define the direction of a new, globally visible publication. Responsibilities: • Establish the journal’s editorial strategy and scope in alignment with the Innovations Journals family. • Recruit, lead, and mentor a diverse international editorial board and reviewer team. • Oversee the peer-review process to ensure scientific rigor, quality, and timeliness. • Commission high-impact articles, special issues, and invited contributions. • Promote the journal to the global nursing and healthcare research communities. • Collaborate with the publisher on indexing, visibility, and strategic partnerships. • Uphold ethical publishing standards (COPE, ICMJE). Qualifications: • Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, or equivalent) in nursing or a related health discipline. • Established record of scholarly excellence and publication in peer-reviewed journals. • Prior editorial or peer-review experience with reputable journals. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Vision to shape and grow a new international journal. Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week Work Location: Remote
