We excel in producing traditional and new innovative, fresh baked goods for regional and national strategic partners. We are driven by our core values to Innovate, Make it Sweet Together, Make it Happen, and Make it Right, and believe that our employees are the key ingredient to our success. Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically sharp Pricing Analyst to join our team at a growing co-manufacturing facility. In this tactical role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining SKU cost models, supporting quote generation and RFP responses, and ensuring timely and accurate pricing for clients. You will collaborate across operations, supply chain, finance, and sales to gather cost inputs, apply markup or pricing guidelines, and produce professional proposals. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain SKU-level cost models: materials, packaging, labor, overhead, yield assumptions, run-rates, and other input variables. • Work with supply chain/procurement to validate cost inputs (raw materials, packaging, freight, utilities). • Apply and refine pricing templates or guidelines (developed in collaboration with commercial/finance leadership) to generate accurate client quotes and proposals. • Respond to RFPs and RFQs in a timely manner: prepare pricing files, supporting cost assumptions, and proposal documentation. • Ensure pricing accuracy: verify calculations, assumptions, terms, and conditions before submission. • Maintain and update standard costing database or tool (Excel, ERP, cost-model software) to reflect current costs and pricing. • Track quote activity: log RFP responses, submission dates, win/loss status, margins (if applicable), and turnaround times. • Support continuous improvement: identify process bottlenecks in costing/pricing workflow and propose enhancements for speed and accuracy. • Partner with operations, quality, and production planning to understand manufacturing cost drivers and constraints. • Provide ad-hoc costing/pricing analysis as needed (e.g., pilot runs, new packaging variants, contract manufacturing opportunities). Qualifications (Education and/or Experience): • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business, or a related quantitative field. • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in costing, pricing, quoting or proposal support—preferably in manufacturing, contract packaging, co-manufacturing, CPG or similar. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (e.g., cost modeling, pivot tables, scenario analysis). Familiarity with ERP or costing software a plus. • Ability to gather, interpret, and apply cost data (materials, labor, overhead, packaging) and supply chain information. • Customer-facing or client-proposal experience is helpful: ability to format professional quotes, collaborate with sales, meet deadlines is required. • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. • Strong organization and process discipline: ability to manage multiple quotes/RFPs concurrently, meet turnaround times, and maintain quote logs. • Good communication and collaboration skills: work across functions (operations, procurement, sales, finance). • Self-starter with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing business environment. Additional Qualifications (Job Skills, Abilities, Knowledge): • Some experience or interest in co-manufacturing/contract manufacturing environment, understanding of manufacturing cost drivers is highly preferred. • Comfort with changing cost inputs and assumptions (e.g., raw material pricing volatility, yield changes). • Ability to refine and build costing models and templates (rather than just following existing ones). • Familiarity with quoting tools, CRM or pricing software would be an asset. • Ability to roll up analysis for financial reporting on a monthly basis Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds. Environmental Conditions: • Inside the office building, the average temperature is between 70-80 degrees. • Be required to enter a cooler or freezer for short periods of temperature -10 to 40.
