We serve clients across the globe and for the Manufacturing Services vertical, we are looking for a dynamic Account Manager with proven performance in similar role, based in the US – preferably in Findlay, Ohio or San Antonio, Texas. 🎯 Key Responsibilities 🤝 Client Relationship Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic clients in downstream refining. • Build long-term relationships based on trust, performance, and shared goals. • Translate client needs into actionable solutions and ensure high satisfaction. 📈 Business Development & Opportunity Management • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across refining and petrochemical segments. • Drive account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic partnerships. • Develop and execute account plans aligned with client priorities and market trends. 🔄 Downstream Supply Chain & Technology Understanding • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the end-to-end downstream refining supply chain, including Production planning & scheduling, Blending and product optimization, Primary distribution (e.g., pipelines, terminals, tankers) and Secondary distribution (e.g., retail, bulk delivery, last-mile logistics) • Understand and articulate the role of digital technologies across this value chain, including Advanced Process Control (APC), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Real-Time Optimization (RTO) Planning & Scheduling tools, Digital Twins, IIoT, AI/ML, Cloud Platforms etc. • Understand the pain points and expectation of clients on how digital transformation can unlock operational efficiency, safety, and profitability across supply chain nodes to convert into business opportunities 🧠 Thought Leadership & Knowledge Management • Stay ahead of industry trends in refining technologies, sustainability, and digital innovation. • Represent the company at industry forums, webinars, and client workshops. • Share market insights and contribute to knowledge management for internal capability building. • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and capability & brand building. 👥 Leadership & Team Management • Mentor junior account managers and contribute to talent development. • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on client success. Qualifications: • Strong understanding of downstream refining processes, technologies and operational challenges. • Proven track record in digital transformation initiatives (e.g., AI/ML, cloud, IIoT, advanced analytics). • Experience managing multi-million-dollar accounts and delivering consistent revenue growth in manufacturing/Oil & gas/Energy Domain • Deep understanding of the Functional aspects (mandatory) and latest technology space especially as applicable clients. • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills. • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability with problem-solving approach. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) • Minimum 8+ years in account management, business development, or client-facing roles in oil & gas (downstream refining focus preferred).
