About this Opportunity Inmar's Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic and enriching experience designed to give students real-world exposure to a professional environment while contributing meaningfully to company initiatives. Interns will split their time between a high-impact cross-functional team project and department-specific responsibilities assigned by their direct manager. The Information Security team safeguards Inmar's technology, data, and people from evolving cyber threats. We are seeking an Information Security Intern to support projects that strengthen our defenses, improve security operations, and help drive continuous improvement. This is a hands-on learning opportunity where you'll gain exposure to multiple areas of cybersecurity, from identity management and cloud security to compliance and threat detection. What You'll Do • Support team initiatives in areas such as vulnerability management, identity and access controls, cloud security, and incident response. • Assist with monitoring security alerts, documenting incidents, and supporting investigations. Contribute to policy, compliance, and awareness initiatives that enhance security culture across the organization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving governance, risk, and data protection. • Research and present emerging security trends, tools, or risks to the team. • Develop innovative solutions to address efficiency and operational opportunities Your Qualifications • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Proficiency or familiarity with networking concepts, operating systems, cloud platforms, or security tools (Splunk, ServiceNow, vulnerability scanners, etc. a plus). • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
