This is a remote position. Infoverity is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Senior Consultant, Data Governance to support the implementation of modern data governance practices and help clients unlock the full potential of their data in support of digital and AI-driven transformations. In this role, you will configure and deploy Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) and related tools, helping enterprises build strong frameworks for data transparency, trust, compliance, and operational analytics. As businesses increasingly depend on data for automation, advanced analytics, and AI capabilities, your expertise will ensure organizations have well-managed, high-quality, and compliant data to confidently enable these initiatives. Your work will involve developing governance frameworks, managing metadata, creating clear lineage visibility, and improving stewardship processes, giving enterprises the trusted data they need to fuel innovation and achieve strategic goals. What You’ll Do Enable Data Governance for Innovation Develop and deliver client-ready governance strategies, playbooks, and frameworks tailored to support enterprise transformation. Share expertise in emerging governance trends and practices that ensure high-quality data for automation, AI, and analytics use cases. Collaborate with Data Stewards, Owners, and SMEs to implement metadata management practices that enhance transparency and readiness for advanced analytics. Support key data governance tasks, including metadata tagging, data lineage tracking, stewardship processes, and data quality controls. Provide technical guidance in areas such as glossary creation, data usage policies, data quality measurements, and compliance frameworks to strengthen governance foundations essential for machine learning and AI initiatives. Informatica CDGC Deployment & Data Readiness Configure and implement Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) to align with enterprise governance frameworks, supporting data-driven decision-making. Manage metadata ingestion, automated cataloging, and lineage tracking across cloud-native platforms, including Snowflake, BigQuery, SQL Server, AWS, and Azure. Establish robust business glossaries, encompassing term relationships, categories, and approval workflows, to drive clarity and consistency in data usage. Set up profiling functionalities through Informatica tools, create data quality rules, and design dashboards to monitor data health and inform decisions. Define custom lineage and workflows using tools like Informatica’s Cloud Data Integration (CDI) to ensure proper tracking of data sources crucial for AI analysis. Integrate governance platforms such as CDGC with enterprise AI/analytics and operational systems for seamless governance adoption. ​ Operational Support & Change Management Train and assist technical and business users to maximize features like lineage exploration, glossary search, and metadata navigation to streamline AI development workflows. Troubleshoot technical issues, document resolutions, and liaise with Informatica support as needed to maintain smooth tool operations. Engage with stakeholders to ensure a successful rollout and high adoption rates of governance platforms, aligning these efforts with broader business transformation initiatives. Support education, communication, and documentation activities to increase platform usability and governance effectiveness across teams. Provide ongoing guidance for governance roadmaps, aligning data governance with strategic priorities such as AI and digital transformation goals. ​ Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience working in data governance, metadata management, or data catalog-driven environments. Hands-on expertise deploying governance tools like Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) or Informatica Axon + EDC. Proven experience integrating governance systems with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, AWS, or Azure to enable scalable data ecosystems. Knowledge of governance frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM, with an ability to apply them to support data transformations and analytics use cases. Strong understanding of metadata connectors, profiling tools, APIs, and cataloging practices critical for AI-ready data ecosystems. Familiarity with compliance, privacy frameworks, and governance ethics necessary for enabling AI-driven initiatives. Excellent technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple pressures in complex technical projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) ecosystem and associated microservices like CDQ and CDI. Proficiency in SQL or scripting to support custom metadata gating, data profiling, or analysis tasks. Experience working with data compliance and governance frameworks in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or insurance. Certifications such as Informatica CDGC Specialist, Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), or DCAM.
