Agile Project Manager (Contract – Fully Remote, Canada) Bilingual English / French Required Program & Project Management Services We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to support enterprise IT initiatives within a large, complex organization. This is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity requiring strong Agile delivery expertise, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to manage scope, risk, and dependencies across multiple workstreams. This role is ideal for a senior Agile Project Manager who has successfully delivered technology initiatives in structured environments and is comfortable working with Product Owners, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders in both official languages. Contract Details • Start Date: February 2, 2026 • End Date: February 1, 2027 • Work Arrangement: Fully Remote • Security Clearance: Reliability Status required Role Overview The Agile Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT initiatives using Agile delivery methodologies. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile frameworks, and modern delivery practices, as well as the ability to proactively manage risks, dependencies, and change in a bilingual environment. Key Responsibilities • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths • Establish and manage project reporting, including status updates, risks, issues, and delivery metrics • Communicate delivery expectations clearly and consistently with project teams and stakeholders in English and French • Define project success criteria and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle • Support contract management activities, including scope definition and documentation • Oversee adherence to contract outcomes and delivery commitments • Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts, including those involving third-party vendors • Proactively manage changes in project delivery and develop contingency plans as required • Conduct post-project reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement Required Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager in IT environments • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Advanced knowledge of Agile principles, including Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps practices • Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps • Experience with project planning tools such as Microsoft Project and Planview / AgilePlace • Proven experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Commerce, or equivalent experience • Project management certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or DASSM • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and verbal) Assets • Experience working within the financial services or insurance industry • Prior experience acting as a Scrum Master or Product Owner • Experience delivering projects in public-sector or highly regulated environments Why Consider This Opportunity • Fully remote work arrangement • Long-term contract with clearly defined scope and expectations • Opportunity to lead meaningful IT initiatives in a structured, enterprise setting • Competitive hourly compensation
