Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a CBP Cargo Functional Specialist to work for our company.  Summary:   * Client Agency is U.S. Customs & Border Protection * The CBP Cargo Functional Specialist will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to functional and technical personnel with insight into the Cargo business process, business rules and logic, and requirements translation. This Cargo Functional Specialist will interface with the CBP Office of Trade and the trade community. Requirements:   * Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies) * Must have extensive, 7+ years, experience with Cargo and Trade business domain primarily at CBP or the trade community. * Must have knowledge of the applications used at CBP to facilitate secure trade. * Must have experience with the issues and challenges facing the trade community. * Must have experience with Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and Advanced Trade Analytics Platform (ATAP). * Must have understanding of import, export, and tariffs rules and regulations. * Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferences:   * An active Secret level clearance. Work With Us  IT-Strat is a technology consulting company that holds various contract vehicles including best in class vehicles.
