Change the World With us! Are you someone who is passionate about design and looking to be part of a creative culture? As a Project Architect at INFORM Studio, you will contribute to the execution of thoughtful, site-responsive projects that focus on the end-user and their experience of space. The Project Architect will embody the design ethos of INFORM and contribute to the production, coordination, and development of projects from design concept through construction administration. In our multi-disciplinary practice, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our interior design, urban design, and engineering disciplines, mentor less experienced staff pursuing licensure, and collaborate with our Project Management team to ensure effective delivery of our professional services. About INFORM Studio INFORM Studio is a woman-owned architectural and engineering practice with offices in metro Detroit and Chicago. We specialize in the design of mixed-use, community, cultural, retail, urban design, and housing projects all across the nation. As a team of architects, interior designers, engineers, and urban and computational designers, we are focused on changing the way the built environment is designed and delivered to bring positive change. Responsibilities and Duties • Contribute to the development of projects from pre-design through completion by establishing and meeting project goals, creating visually compelling presentations and documentation for all design phases, and monitoring construction work to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule. • Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure comprehensive design solutions are achieved and communicate design aspirations clearly to the entire project team, client, and key stakeholders with both visual and verbal communication skills. • Provide design solutions that align with goals and minimize risk with a sensitivity to design quality and direction. • Ensure that all aspects of code and life safety issues are addressed throughout the entire design process and coordinate with teams and external consultants. • Work in conjunction with the Senior Project Architect to provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced staff. Qualifications • Licensed Architect with 5-7+ years of experience • Expertise in Revit, Rhino and Adobe CS, capability in Dynamo and Grasshopper preferred • LEED or WELL Accreditation preferred How to Apply If you’re excited about this opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!
