Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis to join its Haynes North America B2B sales division, part of Infopro Digital Automotive. This is an exciting opportunity to join Infopro Digital Automotive, part of Infopro Digital, a global organisation developing market-leading automotive data solutions. The role focuses on expanding our automotive data business across North America, working with distributors, resellers, partners, and new B2B customers. As Business Development Manager – Automotive Data, you will be a key player in the North America sales team, responsible for driving new business growth and developing long-term commercial relationships. You will play a central role in expanding Infopro Digital Automotive’s footprint across the North American market. Key Accountabilities The Business Development Manager will be responsible for delivering a pure growth model of new business, actively identifying, hunting, and acquiring new sales opportunities across North America. Key responsibilities include: Growing new relationships with distributors, resellers, partners, and new B2B customers in North America Actively prospecting and closing new business opportunities within the automotive data market Developing high-level customer relationships at Managing Director and CEO level Delivering against agreed sales targets and growth objectives Representing Infopro Digital Automotive’s automotive data and lubricant data products Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close Working independently while collaborating closely with the wider Infopro Digital Automotive team Planning and organising sales activity effectively, including travel across the US as required The ideal candidate will bring a strong commercial mindset and proven success in automotive data sales. You will have: A minimum of two years’ experience at senior manager level within the automotive data industry (OE, aftermarket, or related automotive markets) Excellent prospecting, networking, negotiation, and closing skills A strong track record of winning new accounts and delivering commercial growth Outstanding customer relationship management skills Confidence building and maintaining relationships at senior executive level Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills High levels of motivation, drive, and personal accountability The ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently High computer literacy and strong numerical skills Experience working with automotive data products, with lubricant data as a core sales product First-class planning, organisational, and administrative skills Location: Ideally located within commuting distance of Infopro Digital’s US headquarters in Nashville or New York (preferred but not essential), with flexibility to travel throughout the United States.
