10+ years project management experience, accessibility project expertise, proficiency in Agile and other methodologies, vendor management, government/public sector experience, and relevant certifications (PMP or IAAP CPACC preferred).
Below is the job description for the position: Job Title: Digital Accessibility Project Manager Location: Hartford, CT 06103 (Remote) Duration: 12+ Months (with possible extension) Required Experience • 10+ years of project management experience delivering large-scale, high-visibility technology initiatives • Experience managing accessibility-related projects (WCAG, Section 508, or ADA compliance) strongly preferred • Background in QA/testing-heavy projects and agile cross-functional team leadership • Demonstrated success leading enterprise software implementations and driving change management • Proven vendor management experience • Public sector or government agency project experience highly preferred Required Skills • Sound judgment and diplomacy in engaging with government stakeholders • Proficiency in multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, project portfolio management tools (e.g., Monday.com), JIRA, and Confluence Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with public sector workflows, systems, or program administration • IAAP CPACC certification or PMP with accessibility project background • Knowledge of accessibility platforms/tools (Deque, Axe, conformance testing tools, JIRA defect tracking) • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or related field Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage enterprise accessibility governance frameworks, remediation timelines, and KPI reporting • Coordinate activities across accessibility testers, developers, content teams, and agency stakeholders to ensure timely remediation and validation • Track progress against DOJ accessibility requirements and implement risk mitigation strategies • Oversee testing tools, documentation protocols, and knowledge-sharing practices across IT and business teams • Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines • Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and milestones to executive leadership • Manage stakeholder communications across multiple agencies, ensuring transparency and alignment • Oversee internal project resources and external vendor teams in alignment with Statements of Work (SOWs) • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues Thanks & Regards Infojini Consulting Website: https://www.infojiniconsulting.com Address: 10015 Old Columbia Road, Suite B 215, Columbia, MD 21046
