Design, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise network solutions including SD-WAN, Cisco networking, data center, and cloud connectivity.
Must have hands-on experience with Cisco networking, SD-WAN Velocloud, F5 BIG-IP, Azure networking, and relevant certifications like CCNP/CCIE.
• US – Remote: Network Engineer • Canada – On-site (any HCL office): Data Analyst • India – Chennai & Madurai: Network Engineer - E4 PRF Role Overview • Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network solutions. • Focus on SD-WAN (Velocloud) or any SDWAN, Cisco LAN/Wireless, Data Center networking (NDFC), F5 load balancers, and Azure cloud connectivity. • Deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing network architectures. - Key Responsibilities • Architecture & Design o Develop end-to-end network architecture for LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Center. o Create scalable designs integrating SD-WAN Velocloud, Cisco networking, and Azure connectivity. • Implementation & Optimization o Deploy and configure Cisco LAN/Wireless, NDFC, and F5 BIG-IP. o Ensure seamless integration between on-prem and cloud environments. • Security & Compliance o Apply network security best practices. o Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. • Performance & Reliability o Optimize network performance and troubleshoot complex issues. o Provide capacity planning and high-availability strategies. • Collaboration & Leadership o Work with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams. o Mentor engineers and contribute to network standards. - Required Skills & Experience • Core Networking: Cisco LAN/Wireless, Data Center (Nexus, NDFC). • SD-WAN: VMware Velocloud hands-on experience. • Load Balancing: F5 BIG-IP expertise. • Cloud Connectivity: Azure networking (ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN). • Protocols: BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN. • Certifications (Preferred): CCNP/CCIE, VMware SD-WAN, F5 Certified, Azure Network Engineer Associate. - Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and documentation abilities. • Ability to lead projects and work in cross-functional teams. - E3 PRF Role Overview • Act as the technical authority for network technologies: SD-WAN Velocloud, Cisco LAN/Wireless, Data Center (NDFC), F5 load balancers, and Azure cloud connectivity. • Provide advanced troubleshooting, operational support, and best practices for complex network environments. • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and operations. - Key Responsibilities • Technical Expertise o Serve as SME for SD-WAN Velocloud, Cisco LAN/Wireless, and Data Center networking. o Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network issues. • Implementation Support o Assist in deployment and configuration of Cisco LAN/Wireless, NDFC, and F5 BIG-IP. o Support integration between on-premises and Azure cloud environments. • Operational Excellence o Maintain network documentation and operational runbooks. o Ensure network performance, reliability, and security compliance. • Collaboration o Work closely with architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams. o Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers. • Continuous Improvement o Recommend enhancements and optimizations for network infrastructure. o Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices. - Required Skills & Experience • Core Networking: Cisco LAN/Wireless, Data Center (Nexus, NDFC). • SD-WAN: Hands-on experience with VMware Velocloud. • Load Balancing: Expertise in F5 BIG-IP. • Cloud Connectivity: Azure networking (ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN). • Protocols: BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN. • Certifications (Preferred): CCNP/CCIE, VMware SD-WAN, F5 Certified, Azure Network Engineer Associate. - Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and documentation abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
