Senior UI/UX Developer / Design System Architect || Des Moines, IA || Hybrid We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Developer/Architect with strong experience building enterprise design systems and developing accessible, reusable UI components. Responsibilities: * Build and maintain an enterprise design system and reusable component library. * Develop accessible Angular components using HTML, SASS/SCSS and TypeScript. * Ensure UI components meet WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 accessibility standards. * Use semantic HTML, ARIA and accessibility testing practices. * Develop and document components using Storybook. * Support implementation of design systems across multiple applications. * Perform accessibility and code reviews. * Work closely with developers, UX teams and other stakeholders. * Provide guidance and mentorship on accessibility and UI/UX best practices. Required Skills: * 5+ years of front-end development experience. * Strong Angular experience. * Proven experience building an enterprise design system from scratch. * Strong WCAG/Section 508 accessibility knowledge. * Experience with ARIA, semantic HTML and accessibility testing. * Experience with Storybook. * Strong HTML and SASS/SCSS skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: * Experience with USWDS (U.S. Web Design System). * Experience with .NET/MVC and SQL. Ideal Candidate: A hands-on senior UI/front-end professional who can build reusable design systems, develop accessible Angular components, and clearly communicate technical and accessibility standards across multiple teams.
