JOB DESCRIPTION The Inflektion team is looking for a results-driven,detail-oriented and technically-skilled Head of Operations with a proven track record in scaling technology companies towards exit. This role combines strategic operational leadership with hands-on technical fulfillment responsibilities. The Head of Operations is responsible for optimizing the team's day-to-day execution across the business while personally owning critical technical platform configurations and client implementations for the short term until the HOO outlines the team expansion plan. They design and implement company infrastructure & processes to boost productivity & efficiency, while reducing friction and mitigating/preventing day-to-day fires. The Head of Operations' goal is to make the company operate as smoothly and efficiently as possible while driving the business towards our vivid vision outlined above. The Head of Operations leads major company initiatives / projects, and holds the team accountable to completing them. The application code word is EMPOWER. The Head of Operations is a highly skilled strategic and tactical executor. This role will lead Inflektion through rapid scaling and transition towards exit. The Head of Ops will be a key leader working in close collaboration with the CEO and co-founder to achieve ambitious growth targets. This remote position is Full Time. This is a critical position within the business, as such, we host a rigorous, 4-part application process. RESPONSIBILITIES (TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE): • This position will work very closely with the CEO to actualize the vision towards the sale of the company in 2+ years • Own and execute all technical platform configuration changes and technical setup for clients • Manage client onboarding from both technical and strategic perspectives, ensuring smooth integrations and accurate tracking • Lead technical discovery during sales handoff, translating business requirements into system configurations • Build and implement strategic plans with clear targets, goals and initiatives broken down by 3 year, 1 year, quarterly, monthly and weekly milestones • Project manage technical client requests and support tickets, driving them to resolution with clear updates • Troubleshoot tracking, integration, and reporting issues, coordinating fixes with dev team or vendors as needed • Implement quarterly strategic leadership intensives to align team members with company vision and metrics • Recruit, manage, promote, and train a team effectively. Manage evolving org chart and team culture to realize company exit goals • Lead company through evolving team structure & systems to accelerate growth and prepare for exit • Configure and optimize complex affiliate tracking systems, commission structures, and attribution settings • Set up and customize software programs with dozens of different settings to meet client business goals • Act as a technical liaison with clients, explaining solutions in a clear, client-friendly way • Coordinate implementations with the development team, including the Poland-based technical team • Present technical setups and onboarding deliverables to clients • Provide technical sales support and sales engineering functions • Build and maintain SOPs and workflows for recurring technical processes • Remove stress from the executive team as much as possible, including preparing visual company status reports • Redesign & optimize company systems as needed to maximize product fulfillment, quality, and scalability • Contribute to process improvements in client fulfillment and operational systems • Drive accountability to established targets and hold team members accountable to performance standards REQUIREMENTS (EXPECTED PROFICIENCIES): • Proven results increasing operational efficiency & team performance, and generating scalable growth specifically in technology companies with SaaS exit experience • Experience building and scaling companies towards exits, with demonstrated SaaS or technology company exit experience • Proven track record managing and configuring Everflow, which we use for tracking and attribution • Strong knowledge of integrations, including configuring pixels, postbacks, and custom events • Strong technical skills relevant to operations, including experience with complex system configurations • Experience managing development teams and coordinating technical project specifications • Ability to handle both strategic planning and tactical technical implementation - must be able to "dive down into the tactical technical fulfillment side of things" • Background in project management and client-facing roles where communication and organization were critical • Ability to translate business requirements into technical workflows and documentation • Skilled at troubleshooting technical issues methodically under time pressure, using tools like Chrome DevTools • Experience with technical troubleshooting, system integrations, and backend system management • Customer service and project management skills with ability to handle complex client technical requests • Experience working in SaaS, affiliate marketing, or performance marketing environments • Problem-solving skills with technical mindset and ability to work with backend software systems • Sales engineering experience and ability to support technical sales processes • Mindset & drive -- you hold yourself accountable to the highest standards of performance and are resilient in the face of obstacles or failure • Adaptable -- you thrive in fast-changing environments, facing new challenges & opportunities each day • Self-starter -- you are comfortable working 100% remotely, managing your schedule, your team, and meeting deadlines without direct supervision • Strong manager who can "manage up" effectively and push back when necessary to advocate for practical solutions • Exceptionally organized, proactive, and capable of crafting and leading their own role • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (English speaker required) • Highly resourceful, a natural problem-solver who loves learning new technical systems and processes • Data-Driven -- you are able to analyze data and make critical decisions based on the data collected • Strong and decisive leadership style with ability to stand ground and push back on leadership when needed • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with a resourceful problem-solving mindset A+ PLAYER COMPETENCIES • Efficiency: Able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort • Honesty / Integrity: Does not cut corners ethically.
