Role 1 Role: MQ on Zos (Infrastructure Engineer II or Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Onsite) Financial Client Location: Jersey City NJ Duration: 12+ Months Key skills: • Deep understanding of z/OS concepts. • Develop, support, and maintain stable mainframe infrastructure. • Proficiency in JCL, JES, SDSF, and SMP/E. • Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex and system utilities. • Strong automation skills using scripting languages like REXX or Python. Responsibilities: Includes designing, installing, and configuring mainframe infrastructure using automated scripting. Role 2 Role: CICS (Mainframe CICS Support or System Programmer) (Onsite) Financial Client Location: Jersey City NJ Duration: 12+ Months Role: Support the online transaction processing (OLTP) environment on mainframe systems. Key skills: • 5+ years of CICS systems programming experience. • Expertise in CICS TS installation, migration, and performance tuning. • Familiarity with debugging SVC and transaction dumps. • Knowledge of CICS-related ISV tools. Responsibilities: Manage and support the CICS environment, ensuring high volume transaction processing is secure and reliable. Role 3 Role: Project Manager (Associate or Vice President) (Onsite) Financial Client Location: Jersey City NJ Duration: 12+ Months Oversee and drive transformative projects, often with a focus on Mainframe & IBM technology, compliance, or data analytics. Key skills: • Strong project and process management skills. • Knowledge of various methodologies like Agile. • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Role 4 Role: Zos Programmer (Infrastructure Engineer or Mainframe Developer) (Onsite) Financial Client Location: Jersey City NJ Role: Ensure the efficient operation of mainframe systems by programming and performing maintenance tasks. Key skills: • Proficiency in JCL for managing job execution. • Experience with z/OS concepts and utilities like TSO/ISPF. • Skills in languages like REXX or Assembler are valuable. • Problem-solving and troubleshooting for system issues. Responsibilities: Includes system installation, applying patches, performance tuning, and troubleshooting issues to ensure continuity.
