Position Overview: We are hiring a creative, highly capable Marketing and Operations Manager who will lead our marketing efforts while also supporting the CEO with executive assistance and front office operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong marketing and design foundation who is excited to take full ownership of content creation, branding, and storytelling, while also serving as a trusted partner in the day-to-day running of the firm. A core focus of this role will be marketing leadership. You will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy, managing social platforms, planning campaigns, designing branded materials, and capturing and editing photo and video content. If it connects to our brand message or visual identity, you will help create it. Alongside marketing, you’ll also provide meaningful executive and operational support. This includes helping manage the CEO’s priorities and schedule, supporting client-facing office needs, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the front office runs smoothly. You’ll help create an experience that feels warm, professional, and elevated for clients and internal team members alike. The ideal candidate is design-forward, proactive, and resourceful, with strong technical skills in content creation and a genuine appreciation for structure, organization, and support. Responsibilities: • Lead and execute the firm’s marketing strategy in alignment with brand vision and business goals • Own social media platforms including content planning, creation, posting, and engagement • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, launches, and seasonal initiatives • Design branded materials including digital assets, print pieces, presentations, and client facing materials • Capture high quality photo and video content in office, at events, and in day to day firm life • Edit and produce short form video and visual content for marketing and social platforms • Ensure consistent brand expression across all marketing channels and touchpoints • Collaborate closely with the CEO on messaging, storytelling, and thought leadership content • Continuously refine and elevate the firm’s visual identity and marketing presence • Support the CEO with scheduling, coordination, and prioritization • Assist with preparation for meetings, events, and key initiatives • Provide proactive executive assistance and serve as a trusted right hand to leadership • Manage front office operations and day to day office logistics • Support client facing office needs and hospitality • Coordinate vendors, services, and operational details • Help maintain internal organization, workflows, and follow through • Contribute to an office environment that feels warm, professional, and elevated Skills: • Two or more years of experience in social media management, marketing, and or operations, ideally in a financial services or client focused environment • Strong proficiency with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, along with related publishing and management tools • Experience creating and executing email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Constant Contact • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Suite to create visually compelling content • Experience working with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms including Google Analytics and social media insights • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast paced, evolving environment • Strong client first mindset with a passion for creating a thoughtful, elevated client experience and understanding the needs of the target audience Compensation and Benefits: This is a full time, in office role based in Portland, Oregon. This role offers a starting base salary in the range of $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience. In addition to base pay, team members are eligible for performance based bonuses, revenue contribution incentives, and firmwide production bonuses, allowing total compensation to grow with impact and responsibility. Benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, and participation in the firm’s 401(k) retirement plan.
