Index Analytics is seeking a mid-level Salesforce Developer to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. This role plays a key part in delivering scalable, high-performance applications that support strategic business objectives and adhere to established technical standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities Responsible for developing Salesforce applications through all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial technical designs, implementation, testing, to production deployments. Demonstrate an ability to quickly learn new features, tools, technologies, while optimally communicating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners. Ensure that development efforts meet business and end-user requirements, and proactively identifies and resolves system issues. Support proof-of-concepts and contribute to technical solutioning by establishing technical vision and working with developers to turn it into reality. Collaborate with all stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of the project. Exhibit strong verbal and written documentation skills and able to interact with team members to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. Qualifications Qualifications US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform. including Lightning components using the Lightning Design System, Lightning Web Components or Lightning Aura Components and Apex (Batch, Controllers, Triggers). A minimum of 3 years’ experience with declarative development on Salesforce using Workflows, Approval Processes, Process Builder, Flows, etc. Previous experience with implementing Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud. Solutions include Live Chat, Knowledge, Case Lifecycle Management, Assignment Rules, Reports and Dashboards, etc. Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud design and development and working with third-party tools and market-place solutions from the AppExchange. Understanding and configuration of SAML and oAuth flows as well as the utilization of Salesforce application and platform security tools. Solutions such as Checkmarx, AppOmni or similar. Knowledge of GIT and CI/CD is preferred. Strong communication and analytical skills.
