The Key Accounts Manager ensures the smooth operational execution of IndeVets’ Preferred Partnership programs with corporate veterinary groups. This mid-level individual contributor role is responsible for coordinating partner needs at the national, regional, and local levels, organizing cross-functional workstreams, ensuring timely follow-through, and building strong working relationships with regional leaders inside each partner organization. The role requires operational excellence, clear communication, project management discipline, and leadership through influence. It is intentionally designed as a developmental path into people leadership. Responsibilities Operational Partner Coordination Serve as the operational liaison for 2–3 corporate veterinary groups. Translate national and regional partner needs into clear internal action plans. Coordinate requests such as lists of hospitals needing relief support, ensuring internal teams understand what is needed and when. Track and manage all partner tasks, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-through. Regional Relationship Building Build and maintain strong working relationships with regional leaders within assigned partner groups. Conduct structured check-ins to understand local challenges, staffing needs, and operational hurdles. Surface insights that help the HST team prioritize shift posting and demand creation activities. Project Management & Execution Organize and manage multi-step workflows: Identify needs Determine feasibility (through Scheduling, Recruiting, HST) Track progress Communicate updates Maintain clear project plans, timelines, and documentation for each partner. Develop repeatable systems, templates, and processes that streamline partner onboarding and management. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with: Scheduling – primary execution partner for shift fulfillment HST – to generate shift posting and demand in targeted geographies Recruiting – to identify markets where vet supply is constrained Clinical – for clinical escalations Marketing – for partner-specific communication support Ensure all teams are aligned through clear, timely communication. Data, Reporting, and Insights Pull and interpret partner performance metrics (shift growth, shift fill rates, AIV availability). Identify opportunities for increased usage and unmet demand. Assist in preparing Quarterly Business Review materials—data pulls, insights, recommendations. Provide concise internal summaries on partner health, risks, and emerging trends. Escalation Coordination Serve as the point person for organizing resolution of partner issues. Bring the right stakeholders together and ensure follow-through until resolved. Document recurring issues and recommend process improvements. Growth Support & Partner Scalability Identify new opportunities within existing partners (new hospitals, new regions, unmet needs). Support onboarding of new corporate partners by leveraging learnings, best practices, and repeatable playbooks. Provide feedback on partner trends that inform IndeVets’ broader corporate accounts strategy. Qualifications Experience & Requirements 3–5 years of experience in account coordination, operations, client success, or sales-adjacent roles. Veterinary, animal health, or healthcare staffing industry experience required. Proven experience coordinating multi-step workflows across teams. Strong project management skills (formal PM experience a plus). Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to travel approximately 20–30% of time for partner meetings and regional visits. Benefits Did we mention we have competitive pay and great benefits?
