Warehouse Associate – Food Distribution (Freezer Experience Required) Location: Pennsauken, NJ About Us We’re a fast-growing, high-service food distributor serving independent restaurants, pizzerias, and sandwich shops across the region. Who We’re Looking For You’ve worked in food distribution or a high-volume warehouse and you know exactly what it takes to succeed in a cooler/freezer environment. You’re reliable, detail-focused, physically strong, and self-driven. You take pride in clean work, correct orders, and helping the team finish strong. Required Experience: • Previous freezer and cooler warehouse experience. • Previous food distribution or order-selecting experience. • Comfortable working around detailed food SKU picking, rotating, and receiving. • Confident operating warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift). • Ability to lift, move, stack, and organize heavy cases continuously. Preferred Experience: • 6+ months in a foodservice distribution center doing receiving, slotting, or put-away. • Experience with motorized pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, or high lifts. • Familiarity with precise order selection and inventory accuracy. You: • Show up on time, every time. • Work safely and fast without cutting corners. • Handle freezer temperatures without issue. • Communicate clearly and keep the warehouse organized. • Support coworkers and stay focused until the job is done. What You’ll Do • Unload inbound trucks and verify deliveries. • Break down pallets, re-stack, wrap, and prepare product for inventory placement. • Slot product into the correct warehouse locations (freezer, cooler, dry). • Maintain warehouse organization so the night shift can pick efficiently. • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment safely. • Spend significant portions of the shift working in freezer and cooler bays. • Assist with truck maneuvering on the lot when needed. • Lift, stack, and move heavy product throughout the shift. • Handle mid-day customer pick-ups and support night-shift prep. • Maintain strict cleanliness standards throughout the day. • Communicate clearly with the office regarding inventory status. What You Need • Reliable transportation. • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8+ hours per day. • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs frequently and 50+ lbs occasionally. • Comfort working around loud machinery, variable temps, and fast pace. • Ability to stay mentally focused and detail-oriented for long periods. Working Conditions • Freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments. • Constant lifting, bending, walking, and handling products overhead. • Use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and high-reach equipment (training provided).
