Inventory Specialist Location: SW Portland Salary: $50,000+ DOE Industry: Food & Supplement Manufacturing About The Role We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support a fast-paced, food and supplement manufacturing environment. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory across raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods while supporting operational efficiency, compliance, and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities • Manage receiving, tracking, and reconciliation of inventory across multiple systems • Release and scrap raw materials and components as needed • Kit, assign lots, assemble, and release production runs • Maintain accurate finished goods inventory across ERP, e-commerce platforms, and accounting systems • Create and manage items, BOMs, and manufacturing orders • Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments • Run inventory and supply chain reports; analyze data using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) • Receive and process purchase orders for raw materials and components • Collaborate cross-functionally with minimal supervision and report inventory metrics to leadership Systems & Tools • QuickBooks Online (Inventory) • MRP/ERP systems (Misys) • Finished Goods Systems (MOM, Freshly) • E-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Amazon Seller Central) • Microsoft Excel Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control or a similar role • Experience working in manufacturing, food, pharma, or similar environments preferred • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Proven data analysis and reporting capabilities • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment Benefits • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Stable, mission-driven organization focused on quality and compliance
