Job Title: Associate Director – Cards & Consumer Banking Location: New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania Hybrid Role Department: Banking & Financial Services Reports To: Director / VP – Banking Solutions Role Overview The Associate Director – Cards & Consumer Banking will play a strategic leadership role in driving initiatives across the cards, payments, and consumer banking portfolio. The role requires deep domain expertise, strong client management skills, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions. Exposure to business banking products and digital transformation will be key for success in this role. Key Responsibilities 1. Domain Leadership • Provide subject matter expertise in cards, payments, digital wallets, consumer lending, deposits, and core consumer banking processes. • Drive domain-led solutioning for RFPs, proposals, transformation programs, and client engagements. • Stay current with market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in cards and consumer banking. 2. Client Engagement & Solutioning • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within client organizations. • Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution demonstrations. • Translate business needs into structured solution designs and implementation roadmaps. • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term engagement and account growth. 3. Project & Program Management • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects across cards and consumer banking portfolios. • Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication. • Oversee cross-functional teams including technology, operations, product, and vendor partners. • Ensure quality, compliance, and timely execution of project deliverables. 4. Business Banking Exposure • Support solutioning and delivery for business banking products including SME accounts, payments, merchant services, working capital, and lending. • Identify synergies between consumer and business banking product lines to drive integrated offerings. 5. Strategy & Growth Enablement • Support GTM strategies, product roadmaps, and capability development. • Participate in industry forums, thought leadership, and internal knowledge-building initiatives. • Contribute to pre-sales activities, business case development, and value articulation. Required Skills & Experience • 10–15 years of experience in cards, consumer banking, digital banking, or payments. • Proven exposure to business banking products and processes. • Demonstrated ability in client-facing roles, including presentations, solution workshops, and senior stakeholder management. • Strong solution design capabilities with experience in digital transformation, process re-engineering, or technology-led modernization. • Excellent project and program management skills with experience managing large, complex engagements. • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (KYC/AML, card scheme rules, data privacy, etc.). • Ability to influence and collaborate across matrixed teams. Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology. • Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, SAFe, or Agile certifications. • Experience working with major core banking, card management, or payment platforms.
