Job Title: Sr. Backend API Developer Client: LTTS Location: US, flexible on location , working remotely. Rate: $40-45/hr without benefits. ROLE OVERVIEW Senior Backend API Developer with strong experience in building production-grade enterprise software using Java or Python, along with working knowledge of Golang. Must have hands-on experience developing production-grade cloud-native microservices, REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and scalable backend Requires strong engineering fundamentals, expertise in modern software development practices, containerized deployments, CI/CD automation, and proactive ownership of software quality, performance, Experience in the Telecommunications domain and familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs is highly desirable. Required Technical Skills Backend Development in Java (Spring Boot preferred) OR Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or equivalent) Good to Have: Golang RESTful API design and development, API Gateway patterns, OpenAPI / Swagger Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills Docker, Kubernetes, Helm DevOps & CI/CD: Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket; automated build, test, and deployment pipelines Shell/Bash scripting Microservices architecture Enterprise system integrations Event-driven architectures, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent) Databases - relational and NoSQL Cloud & Container Technologies: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP Log analysis and debugging Testing & Quality Engineering Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest, Mockito, etc.) & test automation API testing tools such as Postman Code quality tools (SonarQube preferred) Static code analysis and code coverage management Monitoring & Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Design Patterns, SOLID Principles Performance tuning and optimization High availability and scalability design
