Role and Responsibilities Press Room • Develop improvements to reduce waste percentage and setup times. Production • Attend daily production meetings. • Facilitate and coordinate the completion of change order management forms. Quality • Perform product quality checks, including proofreading, copy verification, color matching to PMS or customer standards, die-cut accuracy, UPC verification, registration, coating, and material specification. • Inspect and sample work in various stages of production. • Perform production approval checks. Floor Leadership • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor—auditing processes, ensuring accountability, and driving process improvements. • Earn employee followership through credibility, integrity, and respect. Operational Management • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in Safety. • Support company objectives by meeting Lead Time and On-Time Delivery targets. • Help reduce production-related quality occurrences. • Assist in troubleshooting press-related issues and coordinating resources for uninterrupted production. • Ensure all presses are properly resourced with materials, tools, and personnel. Qualifications and Education Requirements • Two-year college or technical certificate in Management or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in label press operations or a manufacturing environment. • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
