At IGT Glass Hardware, our Technical Consultants are key players in providing exceptional customer support and technical expertise that elevate the client experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams, ensuring that our clients receive accurate, clear, and timely product information and installation guidance. Your ability to communicate solutions, resolve product-related challenges, and offer tailored recommendations will directly support our mission to “Wow” the glass industry with excellence. As a Technical Consultant, you will become a product expert, helping customers and internal teams navigate specifications, applications, and best practices while representing IGT’s values of teamwork, innovation, integrity, and customer focus. This position is ideal for curious, service-oriented individuals who and passionate about delivering value through knowledge. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and resolve customer issues related to installation, product selection, or technical specifications • Assist customers and colleagues through phone, email, and in-person consultations using professional etiquette • Use tools such as EKO POS and CRM systems to track and document all customer interactions • Support Account Growth and Revenue teams during quotes or presentations by offering technical input • Stay current with IGT product lines, changes, and innovations through regular training and self-learning • Follow showroom and phone interaction protocols to provide consistent and excellent service • Document common technical issues to build the internal knowledge base • Conduct product demos and technical trainings for internal teams or clients as needed • Promote safety by modeling proper product handling and adhering to PPE and warehouse standards • Meet KPIs, including CSAT, order accuracy, and first-contact resolution goals Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification is a plus • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, technical support, or product advisory • Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a strong plus) • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities • Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency • Comfortable with CRM, POS, and collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace) • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new tools, products, and workflows • Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain a professional tone in all situations Working Conditions This is a full-time, on-site position with hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some flexibility may be required depending on customer and team needs, to work on Saturdays, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
