Our client, located in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a NOC Manager/Lead on a Contract basis Please note: • Must be local or willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ market within 2 weeks of offer. • This role is Onsite 4 days per week and one day remote • This is a Contract role (Not open for Corp to Corp/Subvendors) Overview • We are seeking an accomplished NOC Lead / Manager to lead and scale our Network Operations Center (NOC), overseeing a 1300+ store retail network, corporate and regional office infrastructure, data centers, and cloud environments. • 4-5 contractors in the US – 5-6 offshore – total of 12 - this role will lead that team. • This strategic role ensures operational excellence, security, and reliability across all network domains from physical connectivity to cloud-based infrastructure while providing real-time visibility and actionable insights to executive leadership. Required • 10+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or manager-level capacity. • Experience leading/managing onshore and offshore network teams • Proven success managing large-scale, distributed retail or multi-location network environments. • Expertise in Cisco technologies, routing, switching, wireless, and firewall administration. • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow, network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, ThousandEyes, etc.), and hybrid cloud connectivity. • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Preferred • Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification strongly preferred. • Additional certifications such as Fortinet NSE, AWS/Azure Networking Specialty, or ITIL Foundation. • Experience managing both physical and virtual data center environments.
