Mechanical Design Engineer - Project Management Focus • 3+ years of technical expertise in SolidWorks, FEA, and dynamic analysis, plus experience with PDM and ERP systems is necessary • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3+ years of mechanical design experience are required • Pay is up to $92,000, with full benefits • No remote work as this is an on-site position • Full-time, permanent, salaried W-2 position • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder • Located in the Brown Deer, Wisconsin area This full-time, permanent Mechanical Design Engineer - Project Management Focus career opportunity is at a financially stable, privately owned company that is a leader in its industry. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following: • Conceptualize unique and complex vertical lifting solutions and create detailed mechanical product designs using 3D CADD software • Apply expertise in structural steel design, hydraulics, and power transmission to develop practical and effective solutions • Conduct mechanical analysis, including FEA and dynamic analysis, to ensure designs meet all customer and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with a small project group to contribute innovative ideas and technical expertise for complex projects • Convert verbal and written customer information into precise, high-quality engineering drawings and models The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position: • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field • 3+ years of mechanical design experience in a fabrication, heavy equipment, or related manufacturing environment • 3+ years of experience with SolidWorks, FEA, and dynamic analysis software • 2+ years of experience utilizing PDM and ERP systems • A strong understanding of hydraulic power systems, structural steel design, and mechanical power transmission • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment • A solid work history • A US citizen or possess a green card Please apply here or at impactsolutions.com/opportunities where you can see and apply for any of our open positions. #LI-JK1
