The RoleAs a Social Security Disability Attorney, you will play a critical role in representing claimants through all stages of the disability benefits process. This position is ideal for an attorney with a passion for client advocacy, strong litigation skills, and a commitment to serving individuals facing life-altering disabilities. Key ResponsibilitiesManage a full caseload of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims, including initial filings, appeals, and hearings.Represent clients before Administrative Law Judges, preparing them for testimony and advocating on their behalf.Evaluate medical records, work history, and vocational evidence to build strong cases for disability benefits.Collaborate with medical professionals and expert witnesses to strengthen case arguments.Provide compassionate, client-centered representation, guiding clients through a complex and often overwhelming legal process.Stay current on Social Security disability law and regulatory changes to ensure the highest quality representation.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Licensed attorney in good standing with the Colorado Bar (or eligible for reciprocity).5+ years of experience in Social Security disability law (preferred) or related fields such as administrative law, public benefits law, or litigation.Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and empathetic manner.Strong legal writing skills for drafting appeals, briefs, and other case documents.A deep commitment to advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
