Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Epic Hyperspace Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize our client’s Epic Hyperspace environment. This role ensures a stable, high-performing end-user experience across Citrix/VDI, Windows, and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will hold Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) certification and bring strong technical expertise in Citrix, Windows, and Epic client management within complex healthcare IT environments. Responsibilities • System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Epic Hyperspace clients across Windows and Citrix/VDI platforms; manage client distribution, versioning, and configurations. • Performance & Optimization: Monitor login times, stability, and performance; troubleshoot slowness and connectivity issues; optimize Citrix delivery groups and Hyperspace workloads. • Upgrades & Testing: Plan and execute client upgrades; participate in integrated and user acceptance testing; maintain configuration documentation. • Collaboration & Support: Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support; partner with Epic analysts, infrastructure, and network teams to resolve complex issues; develop knowledge articles and documentation. • Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IT security, and audit standards; support SSO, MFA, Active Directory integration, and endpoint security. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred. • Certification: Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) required; Citrix or VMware Horizon (CCA/VCP) strongly preferred. • Experience: 3+ years in IT systems administration, preferably in healthcare; experience with Epic Hyperspace, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and Windows Server. • Skills: Strong troubleshooting in multi-tiered environments; familiarity with Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM/Intune, and PowerShell scripting; experience with Epic print services, mobile apps, and Hyperdrive migration a plus. The compensation for this role includes a salary range of $140,000 to $170,000 and may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. This range reflects consideration of several factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
