Position Overview The Executive Director, Field Medical Affairs will build and establish strategy for a US MSL team. This individual will provide strategic direction, mentorship, and operational oversight for a team of MSLs to ensure excellence in scientific exchange and external engagement. The position will report to the SVP, Medical Affairs and will be an integral part of the leadership team. They will be empowered to make decisions and drive results, which will require deep scientific subject matter expertise, strong business acumen, effective communication, and coaching/development skills. The ideal candidate also combines medical affairs leadership expertise with a strong understanding of the evolving U.S. healthcare and regulatory environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage a high-performing team of MSLs, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development Develop and execute the field medical strategy aligned with corporate objectives and medical affairs vision Guide the team in building and maintaining trusted scientific relationships Analysis and communication of MSL field insights to shape and refine corporate strategy Partner with medical affairs, clinical development, and commercial leadership to ensure scientific alignment and seamless cross-functional collaboration Ensure compliant coordination between medical and commercial teams Coordinate with clinical development teams on priorities and study support Develop and monitor key performance indicators and field metrics for scientific engagement effectiveness Ensure all field activities comply with corporate policies, applicable regulations, and ethical standards Qualifications Advanced degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD) Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs Minimum of 2 years prior field medical leadership experience building and managing teams Oncology Medical Affairs experience required Travel will be required, up to 30-50% Knowledge and Skills Expertise in medical field engagement strategy Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Known for developing talent and fostering collaboration Washington State Pay Range $343,082—$444,917 USD E/E/O Immunome, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
