We are looking for a Manager, Sourcing and Procurement to lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across our nutritional products business. This role will own high-impact projects spanning contract manufacturing, ingredients, packaging, supplier onboarding, competitive bidding, and cost reduction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who can independently drive complex supplier initiatives from strategy through execution, while managing timelines, coordinating cross-functionally, solving problems quickly, and holding partners accountable. Strong hands-on NetSuite experience is essential, particularly with purchase orders, invoice workflows, and inventory transfers. Experience in nutritional supplements, vitamins, minerals, or nutraceuticals is strongly preferred. This role will also manage and develop the purchasing function and serve as the day-to-day owner for key strategic procurement initiatives as Blueprint continues to scale. Position Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing & Competitive Bidding Lead RFQs, RFPs, competitive bidding processes, and supplier selection efforts across contract manufacturing, ingredients, packaging, and other key spend categories Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate supplier proposals, build cost comparisons, and make recommendations based on economics, capabilities, quality, service, and risk Negotiate commercial terms, including turnkey manufacturing rates, ingredient and packaging costs, payment terms, minimums, and other key supplier economics Drive measurable cost savings and cost avoidance while maintaining product quality, supply continuity, and scalability Contract Manufacturing & Turnkey Conversion Lead the transition of existing products and manufacturing relationships from the current operating model to a turnkey manufacturing model Manage contract manufacturer relationships as the day-to-day commercial owner, including performance, timelines, pricing, issue resolution, and accountability Onboard new contract manufacturers and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure commercial, operational, quality, and product requirements are met Support manufacturing capacity, scalability, and risk-reduction initiatives across the supplier network Ingredient & Packaging Sourcing Identify and qualify lower-cost ingredient and packaging alternatives without compromising product requirements or quality standards Partner with Product Development and Quality to evaluate and qualify alternative ingredients, suppliers, specifications, and materials Lead packaging sourcing and development projects, including new formats, materials, and retail-specific packaging solutions Maintain visibility into supplier cost drivers and proactively identify opportunities to improve total landed cost New Product & Packaging Development Lead supplier-side execution for new product launches, reformulations, packaging changes, and manufacturing transitions Coordinate with Product Development, Quality, Operations, Supply Planning, and external manufacturers to drive projects from concept through commercialization Own supplier timelines, action items, dependencies, and escalation paths to keep projects moving at the required pace Identify risks early, resolve issues quickly, and ensure suppliers deliver against agreed milestones and requirements Purchasing Leadership & Supplier Management Own and oversee day-to-day procurement execution in NetSuite, including purchase order creation and management, invoice processing, and inventory transfers, while ensuring transactions are accurate, timely, and aligned with internal processes Establish clear purchasing processes, ownership, supplier expectations, and operating rhythms as the business scales Build strong, accountable supplier relationships and serve as a key point of contact for strategic procurement matters Manage multiple sourcing and procurement projects simultaneously with minimal oversight and a high degree of ownership Experience & Background: Minimum 7 years of progressive sourcing, procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or supplier management experience Experience in nutritional supplements, vitamins, minerals, or nutraceuticals preferred; relevant food, CPG, or other manufacturing-based consumer products experience also considered Hands-on experience leading RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, cost-reduction initiatives, and supplier selection processes Experience working directly with contract manufacturers and managing outsourced manufacturing relationships Experience sourcing ingredients, packaging components, or other direct materials strongly preferred Prior people-management or team-lead experience preferred Commercial & Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, cost structures, supplier pricing, and total landed cost Ability to evaluate quotes, identify cost drivers, negotiate effectively, and translate sourcing decisions into business impact Working knowledge of supplier onboarding, qualification, change management, and manufacturing transition processes Comfortable working closely with Product Development and Quality teams in a regulated or quality-sensitive environment Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite is required, particularly creating and managing purchase orders, supporting invoice workflows, and executing inventory transfers; strong spreadsheet and data-analysis skills are also required Skills & Attributes: High degree of ownership, urgency, accountability, and follow-through Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from start to finish Commercially minded and comfortable negotiating with senior supplier stakeholders Clear, concise written and verbal communicator who can build strong internal and external relationships Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, suppliers, timelines, and workstreams in a fast-paced environment Practical, solutions-oriented problem solver who is comfortable operating with ambiguity and minimal oversight Analytical and detail-oriented while maintaining a strong understanding of broader business priorities Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field Equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of degree Salary Range: $120-150k + equity + benefits
