This is a full-time work from home (remote) contractor position.PURPOSEWorking under the direct supervision of the Director of Transcription Operations, the Quality Assurance Associate will review real-time transcribed/edited documents for accuracy, transcribe/edit as deemed necessary, and may perform quality audits.ORGANIZATION STRUCTUREReports to:Director of Transcription OperationsThe experienced Quality Assurance Associate has advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, signs and symptoms, medications, and laboratory values and the ability to understand diverse accents, dialects, and varying dictations styles, work across transcription platforms, as well as determine the needs of each document on its own merit from a quality standpoint, whether that be blanks, demos, or full voice-to-text proof, along with the following responsibilities:Key ResponsibilitiesProofreads a variety of accounts, dictation work types and specialties with urgency and accuracy across multiple transcription platformsRecognizes inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies in medicolegal healthcare documentation and appropriately resolves, clarifies and/or reports as necessaryUtilizes an array of professional reference materials including those in electronic format.
