At least 5 years of direct Amazon Vendor Central 1P account management experience, strong financial and analytical skills, proficiency with Amazon tools, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Description: • Own the overall Amazon Vendor Central relationship, including vendor negotiations, pricing, promotions, and securing cost increases as needed. • Lead the business strategy for Amazon 1P, identifying growth opportunities and executing plans to increase sales and profitability. • Oversee advertising by partnering with our Advertising Specialist on strategic investing and boosting ROAS. • Implement promotional strategies throughout key seasonal timeframes, allocating budgets based on performance KPIs. • Partner with marketing team to drive content, catalog management, and product optimization to maximize discoverability, conversion, and customer experience. • Analyze sales, ASIN performance, ratings, reviews, and market trends to uncover actionable insights, proactively addressing negative trends and accelerating positive momentum. • Prepare and deliver business reviews and performance reports to senior leadership. • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on Amazon Vendor Central policies, systems, and best practices, ensuring compliance and sharing knowledge across teams. • Collaborate with internal partners (operations, marketing, customer service, and finance) to deliver on-time, in-full shipments and operational excellence. Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of direct Amazon Vendor Central (1P) account management experience with proven success in growing 1P businesses. • Strong financial and analytical skills; able to evaluate and model the business impact of strategic decisions. • Thorough understanding of Amazon Vendor Central portal, including how to navigate their reporting tool and their advertising portal. • Proven success partnering and negotiating with Amazon vendor managers. • Ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels. • Being highly collaborative is critical. • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to extract key data from Vendor Central, translate insights into actionable strategies, and execute plans to drive results. • Experience with Seller Sonar, Jungle Scout Cobalt, Helium10 and other Amazon analytics tools is preferred. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Amazon 3P (FBA) experience is a plus, but not essential. • Occasional travel required.
