This role is ideal for a strategic engineering leader who thrives in complex chemical manufacturing environments and can drive infrastructure and production projects from concept through full operational handover. You will serve as the primary project leader, ensuring execution excellence across safety, scope, budget, schedule, and strategic alignment. Key Responsibilities Full Capital Project Lifecycle Leadership • Lead high-value capital projects exceeding $30M from feasibility (FEL) through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning • Oversee vendor selection, detailed engineering, and construction management Safety & Technical Governance • Act as subject matter expert on OSHA PSM requirements • Lead HAZOPs, LOPAs, PSSRs, and other critical safety reviews • Ensure full compliance with MOC and SIS protocols Strategic Execution & Resource Alignment • Align project objectives with business strategy and operational needs • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans • Drive coordination between technology, engineering, and plant operations Multi-Disciplinary Team Leadership • Direct cross-functional engineering teams (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation) • Oversee contractors supporting chemical processing and unit operations Executive-Level Communication • Provide regular updates to Steering Committees and senior leadership • Present cost performance, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies This is a high-visibility leadership role offering the opportunity to shape major capital investments within a sophisticated chemical manufacturing environment.
