This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing plant equipment, implementing process improvements, and ensuring maximum machine utilization. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and costs • Plan and schedule maintenance activities based on equipment condition, usage, and manufacturer recommendations • Oversee relocation, dismantling, and removal of obsolete or worn-out machinery and equipment • Maintain spare parts inventory and manage relationships with preferred suppliers • Schedule work and overtime to ensure maximum machine utilization and fair distribution of tasks • Train and develop maintenance staff on technical skills, safety practices, and company policies • Troubleshoot production equipment and respond to critical downtime situations affecting manufacturing • Maintain maintenance software database, generate and track PM schedules • Manage plant utilities and identify opportunities to reduce costs • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address problem areas and implement solutions • Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader with automotive or manufacturing experience to lead a high-performing team, optimize plant operations, and contribute to overall business success.
