Accounting & Office Manager (Manufacturing) Location: Glastonbury, CT Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Employment Type: Full-time, Salaried, Exempt Compensation: Competitive, based on experience; includes merit-based increases Industry: Light Industrial / Manufacturing Must Haves: • Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting and office management experience • Proficiency with accounting systems and office software • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Accounting & Office Manager to join our small but growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and adapts quickly to new tasks. You’ll oversee all aspects of accounting and general office operations, with direct involvement in both day-to-day tasks and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Accounting: • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including collections • Oversee inventory accounting, bank reconciliations, and accruals • Prepare adjusting journal entries, month-end/year-end reconciliations, and financial statements • Conduct account analysis and ensure accuracy in general accounting and reporting Office Management: • Handle file management, administrative support, and receptionist duties as needed • Assist executive team with HR and payroll-related responsibilities Work Environment • Light industrial setting • Casual and friendly atmosphere If you are a detail-oriented, experienced professional ready to take ownership of accounting and office operations in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply today.
