SUPPLY CHAIN SUPERVISOR Join our team as a Supply Chain Supervisor at our brand new Marine Engine Technical Center and play a key role in keeping our production operations running smoothly. Anticipated Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift Only Role Description Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team • Supervise and mentor a team of four supply chain associates, fostering growth, accountability, and strong teamperformance. Drive Inventory Accuracy & Efficiency • Work with the team to maintain real-time inventory records in Epicor. Create and own processes to ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date. • Audit Bills of Materials and support accurate production backflushing • Ensure all parts, serial numbers, and materials are accurately documented in the ERP system. Strengthen Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration • Serve as a primary contact for suppliers and internal partners, communicating shipment updates, inventory statuses, and delivery needs. • Work closely with Production, Finance, Engineering, and other teams to resolve inventory, billing, and invoice discrepancies. Keep Materials Flowing Smoothly • Issue purchase orders for maintenance and internal requests. • Monitor supplier performance, follow up on past‑due orders, and prepare weekly inventory reports for plant leadership. • Serve as the in-building leader and go-to for supply chain-related questions Problem-Solve & Improve Processes • Work with our team to negotiate solutions to supplier issues including shortages, damaged goods, and engineering changes. • Apply continuous improvement principles to elevate service, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. Support Daily Operations • Provide hands-on assistance to Production, Receiving, Logistics, and Shipping to ensure smooth operations and exceptional internal customer service. Qualifications • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field — or equivalent experience. • 3–5 years of supply chain, materials planning, purchasing, or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment. • 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience with a track record of coaching and developing people. • Solid working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred). • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Excellent communication, organization, and relationshipbuilding skills. • Understanding of core supply chain principles and comfort presenting to management. • High energy, a continuous improvement mindset, and forklift certification a plus • Forklift certification Work Environment • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally. • Role involves a mix of sitting, standing, walking, and hands-on activity. • May work around moving mechanical parts, chemicals, or areas requiring hearing protection. • Moderate noise environment; less than 15% travel possible.
