Job Description: Electrical Engineering Intern Hobart is part of the ITW Food Equipment Group, an Illinois Tool Works Fortune 200 company, and is a recognized leader among commercial food equipment worldwide. The Hobart Food Machines division is located in Troy, Ohio, and is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern. This position will provide electrical engineering support for ongoing innovation projects on planetary mixers and meat slicers. Job Description Troubleshoot AC and DC circuits. Work with Variable frequency drives. Create and/or modify electrical schematics. Learn about various electrical and electronics equipment. Work with prototype electronics using Raspberry Pi, Arduino or similar. Intern will work with cross functional internal team members including engineers, technicians, and machine operators. Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field. Must be classified as a Junior or Senior school year 2026-2027 Able to commute to our facility in the Troy, Ohio area for the duration of the internship experience.
