10-15 years in sustainability partnerships or ESG strategy, success in responsible sourcing initiatives, strong business acumen and donor relations, intercultural communication skills, and preferably a Master’s degree in international development, business, or sustainability.

The Role We seek an accomplished professional to lead a new strategic partnership focused on building resilient, regenerative, and socially responsible supply chains. The role bridges corporate sustainability goals and IIRR’s field capabilities, shaping initiatives that deliver shared value for businesses and rural producers alike. Key Responsibilities • Serve as lead architect for a high-profile sustainability partnership between IIRR and a global company. • Translate corporate ESG and sourcing priorities into actionable IIRR programs and investment proposals. • Develop co-funded business cases, partnership frameworks, and reporting systems. • Manage cross-regional implementation teams to ensure impact and accountability. • Liaise with senior corporate, foundation, and technical partners, representing IIRR in global sustainability platforms. • Build internal capacity to position IIRR as a preferred partner for other corporate collaborations. Candidate Profile • 10 – 15 years’ experience in sustainability partnerships, ESG strategy, or responsible supply chains. • Demonstrated success working in sustainability or responsible sourcing initiatives across multiple industries • Strong business acumen, donor-relations expertise, and intercultural communication skills. • Master’s degree in international development, business, or sustainability preferred. • Entrepreneurial mindset; able to move from concept to deal to implementation.
