Full Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and help build a greenfield WhatsApp conversational bot embedded into our money remittance platform. This is not just another chatbot project — it combines AI-driven prompt engineering, human-centered conversational UX, and complex backend integrations for a product that will handle regulated, real-money transactions. You’ll be joining after the prototype stage, helping shape the long-term system architecture as we move from prototype to full-scale production, and directly influencing both the technical architecture and the user experience. Position Opportunity: • \uD83E\uDDE0 Want to work at the intersection of AI, human behavior, and software? Here, prompt engineering is not an afterthought — it’s the heart of the product. You’ll design prompts and flows that keep the conversation useful, natural, and on track, even when users try to take it sideways. • \uD83D\uDCAC Interested in designing how humans talk to machines? You’ll be crafting natural language UX: guiding users who don’t know the “script” through complex financial flows while keeping the interaction friendly, efficient, and complaint. • \uD83D\uDD27 Like building rock-solid backend systems? From integrating with the WhatsApp Cloud API to payment processing systems, you’ll engineer services that connect AI conversations to real-world transactions. What You’ll Do: • Design, implement, and refine prompt engineering strategies for LLM-based conversational flows using LangChain, LangGraph, and custom NLP logic. • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and other developers to shape conversational UX — anticipating user needs, guiding them through scenarios, and handling unpredictable inputs gracefully. • Develop and maintain backend systems in Python, NestJS, and Node.js for integrations with Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API, payment platforms, and internal services. • Implement secure, compliant flows for transactions and personal data handling. • Deploy and operate services in Docker/AWS using AWS CDK and modern DevOps practices. • Contribute to the full development lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring. We Expect You to Have: • Deep knowledge and 5+ years of production experience • Solid backend development skills with Node.js/NestJS (Python is a plus). • Experience integrating with complex third-party APIs (payments, messaging, etc.).Proficiency in frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript and React. • Familiarity with Сloud and container technologies • English proficiency – B2 or higher. It Would Be a Plus To Have: • Experience with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform or other messaging APIs (Telegram, Viber, etc.). • Experience with LangChain and LangGraph. • Experience in business analysis and communications with users and stakeholders. Work on financial/payment-processing systems. • Experience in building scalable and highly-available system architectures. • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
