IDS Engineering Group is seeking enthusiastic engineering interns to join our talented team and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering environment. This internship program is designed for undergraduate or graduate students who are looking to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical challenges while working under the guidance of experienced engineers. As an engineering intern, you will assist in various engineering tasks, including project research, data analysis, and the preparation of engineering documentation. You will have the opportunity to participate in exciting projects that contribute to infrastructure and public works initiatives, while also enhancing your technical skills and understanding of engineering processes. Responsibilities • Support engineering teams in ongoing projects by conducting research and analysis • Assist in the preparation of design layouts and technical documentation • Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas and feedback • Gain exposure to various engineering software and tools • Collaborate with team members to solve engineering problems • Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner • Learn from experienced engineers and seek feedback for personal development • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, BioAg, Environmental, or related field) • Strong academic performance with a foundational understanding of engineering principles • Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with others • Willingness to learn and be adaptable to new tasks and challenges
