Responsibilities Program/Project Execution: Lead programs implementing secure passenger screening, identity verification and digital identity management in partnership with airports, airlines, and Federal agencies. Lead program initiatives, monitor milestones, and continuously adapt plans to optimize outcomes. Travel Market Experience: Serve as the subject matter expert on travel industry operations, with hands-on experience working alongside airlines, airports, and applicable Federal agencies. Growth Experience: Support new business initiatives by collaborating closely with business development teams and market leaders to identify, pursue, and implement growth opportunities. Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and sustain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners, including executives, airlines, airports, federal agencies, and technology providers. Drive clear communication and collaboration to guarantee program success. Program Delivery: Oversee the lifecycle of complex, multi-disciplinary projects, particularly in the travel and security industries. Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time and high-quality outcomes. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and coordinate mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Reporting: Establish and monitor contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Prepare reports and regularly present updates to leadership, customer stakeholders, and partners as required. Financial Management: Oversee program financials by tracking budget adherence, monitoring percentage of completion, and reporting point-in-time performance metrics to ensure fiscal accountability and support data-driven decision-making. Proposal Support: Support the quote, proposal, and pricing process by collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to develop competitive and compliant submissions. Cross Functional Leadership: Orchestrate deliverables through successful completion using cross-functional teams. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Professional Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in program management, including substantial work within the travel and security sectors. Proven history of managing large-scale programs in partnership with airlines, airports, federal agencies, and security solution providers. Travel Market Experience: Demonstrated expertise in airline and airport operations, interface with applicable federal agencies such as the USCIS, TSA, CBP, and leadership in deploying identity and security solutions Leadership: Strong ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, navigate challenging stakeholder landscapes, and drive consensus in a dynamic environment. Project Management Methodologies: Advanced knowledge of project and program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI). Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging executive leadership, customer stakeholders and external partners. Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with project management and industry-specific tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Jira). Certifications: PMP or related professional certifications are highly desirable.
