Job Description: The Operations Supervisor manages hourly associates and temporary workers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Responsibilities include coaching and training associates; planning, assigning and supervising work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsibilities • Promotes a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers. • Follows established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. • Builds a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates. • Provides corrective action as necessary to associates. • Helps maintain attendance records. • Monitors daily compliance with safety procedures. • Helps investigate accidents and prepares reports. • Provides on the job coaching and training needed to ensure associates skills are maintained at desired levels. • Helps coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work. • Supports site operations leadership to ensure procedures are followed and customer satisfaction. • Other duties as assigned. Compensation - $70,000- $78,000 Schedule: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, Sunday - Thursday (May be asked to assist with other shift times) Requirements: • Bachelor Degree preferred. • 3+ years of Supervisor related experience in a distribution, 3PL, warehouse and production environment. • Experience with WMS software including; Manhattan Scale or Red Prairie. • Excellent Microsoft Office suite experience. • Experience with ADP E-Time is a plus. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. • Detail oriented. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work alone as well in a team environment.
