Master's degree in related field, 12+ years workforce development experience with federal/state agencies, expertise in evidence reviews and work-based learning program design, strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Description: • ON-CALL Senior Workforce Consultant (REMOTE ROLE) supporting Workforce Innovations, Emergency Preparedness and Poverty Solutions practice. • Provide expertise and oversight of projects across workforce development, notably in energy efficiency, transportation and IT fields. • Network and communicate with senior stakeholders around workforce development, economic development, work-based learning and apprenticeship. • Lead capture and develop winning proposals across Federal, state and commercial clients. • Provide writing and presentation support across deliverables, analyses, program trends/outcomes reports, and stakeholder publications/products. • This is an on-call, part-time hours position based on project needs; open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within the US. Requirements: • Masters degree or PhD in public policy, political science, educational psychology, economics, or related social services field. • Minimum 12 years of experience working with Federal and/or state workforce agencies, regional and local workforce entities, employers, community colleges, and/or nonprofits with a strong workforce development, economic transformation, and sector-based focus. • Expertise in leading and supporting systematic evidence reviews for the U.S. Department of Labor across a range of employment topics, including apprenticeship and work-based learning. • Expertise in designing and implementing work-based learning programs for the U.S. Department of Labor and state workforce agencies. • Demonstrated success in employer-driven workforce innovations, such as on-the-job training, registered apprenticeships, paid work experience, paid internships, dislocated worker and incumbent worker training. • Ability to work both independently and on a core team of staff members • Demonstrated ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner • Demonstrated experience showing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills paired with a desire to take initiative • Strong presentation and communication skills Benefits: • We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. • Reasonable Accommodations are available, including, but not limited to, for disabled veterans, individuals with disabilities, and individuals with sincerely held religious beliefs, in all phases of the application and employment process. • All information you provide will be kept confidential and will be used only to the extent required to provide needed reasonable accommodations.
