We’re seeking a Nursing Recruitment Project Manager with a strong clinical, public health, or medical background to lead integrated communications, industry branding, PR and marketing initiatives that generate greater awareness of the profession and attract, engage, and hire exceptional nurses. This role bridges Talent Acquisition, Marketing/Communications, and Nursing leadership to deliver end‑to‑end reputation and recruitment campaigns—balancing clinical credibility with data‑driven project management and compelling storytelling. What You Will Do: Oversee a multi-disciplinary team of communications professionals and subject matter experts (SMEs) supporting a high-profile industry-led public awareness, reputation, and recruitment campaign. Serve as the lead point of contact for the client responsible for executing requests and managing overall campaign delivery. Manage cross‑functional workstreams and teams and external partners/vendors. Work collaboratively with team leads and SMEs responsible for campaign strategy, delivery and evaluation; work closely with managers to develop and administer budgets, commitments, plans and schedules, staffing, and other contract management requirements. Advise the client (or a coalition of clients) on strategic planning for integrated marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and priorities. Manage relationships with senior-level clients and industry stakeholders to ensure programmatic success, buy-in, and client satisfaction, adjusting course when needed and maintaining an agile approach to program execution. Oversee and review deliverables and campaign messaging material to ensure quality control and alignment with the client’s vision. Launch and monitor campaigns pulses across multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, paid media, and public relations. Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including team members, clients, or management, on campaign progress and key performance indicators. Prepare post-campaign reports, including detailed analysis of results, lessons learned, and recommendations for future campaigns. Build nurse‑centered narratives and story banks: day‑in‑the‑life features, clinical excellence stories, Magnet/Pathway to Excellence highlights, patient impact, and professional growth paths. Audit and enhance the nursing value proposition (Nurse EVP) and translate into Campaign strategy and content. Lead campaign creative (video, photo, copy) that reflects diverse nurses and inclusive practice; ensure brand consistency across ATS, CRM, landing pages, and job ads. Leverage an extensive network of connections by the client to drive presence at nursing schools, conferences, and professional associations; activate referral programs and alumni networks. Align industry campaign strategy and campaign pulses to industry owned candidate journeys to support professional recruitment efforts from interest to education to job placement and retention. Oversee research and evaluation team gathering nurse and industry feedback to continuously improve messaging and processes. What You Will Bring With You: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or relevant field. 5–8+ years in recruitment marketing, employer or industry branding, integrated communications/PR, or healthcare marketing; 3+ years project/program management. Experience leading marketing efforts related to the medical profession, public health or healthcare (nursing preferred) What We Would Like You To Bring With You: Strong planning and execution skills; PMP or equivalent experienceis a plus. RN license or BSN preferred; significant experience in healthcare delivery or nursing operations required. Familiarity with ATS/CRM (e.g., Workday, iCIMS, Phenom, Beamery), analytics (e.g., GA4, Looker/Tableau), social platforms, and marketing automation a plus. Excellent writing/editing for clinical audiences; ability to brief and evaluate creative. Experience recruiting for multiple nursing specialties and hard‑to‑fill roles as a plus. Prior work in Magnet hospitals or large integrated health systems preferred. Ability and experience communicating effectively (speaking and writing) to diverse audiences to convey public health-related processes, problems, and solutions. Professional Skills: Highly effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all levels of the business. Organized, detailed-oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task. Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the ability to be a hands-on, trusted problem solver and leader. Demonstrated experience providing senior-level counsel to multiple clients and stakeholders. Superior verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills, as well as attention to detail. Ability to think creatively and provide unique solutions and rationale for solutions to clients’ communications challenges/problems. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
