Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award. The Work We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing database architectures that support high-performance applications, data warehousing, and analytics platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. What You Will Do: Design and develop scalable and robust data architecture solutions using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB. Define and maintain data models, data flows, and database schemas across multiple platforms. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and data analysts to integrate and optimize database performance and reliability. Perform data migrations between Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB environments. Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Create and maintain documentation of data architecture, data dictionaries, and standards. Monitor and tune databases to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Conduct code and design reviews for database changes and new feature implementations. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend tools to improve data management and analytics. What You Will Bring With You: U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements Candidate must be able to pass successful Public Trust background check Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or related technology field 5 or more years of experience in data architect roles with data migration development with hands-on experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB. 5 or more years experience with prominent cloud, service-oriented, platform-based application technologies with design and system development accomplishments. 2 or more years experience in building natural language processing solutions to support data querying capabilities. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
