Our primary audience is men aged 50+, and we sell directly through our website as well as marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. We invest heavily in marketing and are now expanding our organic growth strategy to reduce advertising costs and strengthen long-term profitability. Position Overview We’re seeking an experienced SEO & Content Marketing Manager to lead our organic growth initiatives. This role combines strategic SEO expertise with hands-on content marketing skills to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and engage our audience with high-quality, targeted content. You will work closely with our creative, marketing, and development teams to execute a data-driven content strategy that delivers measurable results. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic rankings and drive qualified traffic. • Conduct keyword research, map keywords to content opportunities, and manage on-page optimization across our website. • Collaborate with our creative and development teams to ensure site structure, speed, and user experience support SEO best practices. • Plan and manage an editorial calendar aligned with SEO priorities, audience interests, and seasonal trends. • Write and/or edit blog posts, product guides, landing pages, and other content to engage our audience and improve conversion rates. • Implement an internal linking strategy and ensure all content is optimized for search intent. • Track and report on SEO and content performance metrics, making data-backed recommendations for improvement. • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and competitive strategies. Qualifications • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO and content marketing, preferably in DTC products. • Proven track record of increasing organic traffic and improving keyword rankings. • Strong writing and editing skills with an understanding of how to craft content for both search engines and people. • Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog). • Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals (site architecture, mobile optimization, schema markup, page speed). • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and marketing teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in the automotive industry or with a 50+ target demographic. • Knowledge of YouTube SEO or video content optimization. • Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
