Position Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Governance, Risk & Compliance Associate, to support the evolution of the company’s risk and compliance framework. In this role, you will work closely with teams across the organization to strengthen our risk and control landscape, ensure effective documentation and reporting, and provide valuable insights to senior management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute to the development of a strong risk and compliance culture. Major Areas of Responsibility: Risk & Governance Support • Assist with Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), and updates to Business Continuity Plans (BCPs). • Help track and document issues, controls, and remediation activities. • Prepare materials and notes for risk and control meetings. • Contribute to draft risk and compliance reports for leadership review. Support business continuity activities, including maintaining documentation and coordinating program exercises. • Contribute to draft risk and compliance reports for leadership review. Compliance Program Assistance • Support the policy management process, including maintaining documentation and procedures. • Track and report on employee completion of compliance training programs. • Assist with audit preparation and regulatory reviews, including gathering and organizing supporting evidence. • Help maintain the Compliance Management System (CMS) and monitor activities. • Support the due diligence process by coordinating requests and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of compliance documentation • Assist with data management, ensuring documentation, evidence, and reporting are accurate, organized, and accessible. Vendor Oversight • Assist in the vendor review process, including gathering due diligence materials, tracking review status, and documenting outcomes. • Help maintain vendor risk assessments, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. • Support the team in monitoring vendor compliance with policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements. • Contribute to vendor reporting by organizing data and preparing summaries for management review. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (or relevant experience). • 1–3 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, or operations preferred; internships or entry-level experience considered. • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple assignments. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with compliance or risk systems a plus. • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Optional: Nice to Haves • Strong understanding of organizational processes and ability to work effectively across different teams The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. iBusiness Funding provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
