Bachelor's degree, technical selling experience with hardware, strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
About the position Responsibilities • Crafting client strategies for mainframe infrastructure and applications. • Defining and detailing IBM zStack solutions for client enhancement. • Delivering simplified proof of concepts and educating clients. • Building trust for closing complex zStack technology deals. • Expertly manage a client set to showcase IBM's technology value proposition. • Take ownership of the technical aspect of the sales process. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree. • Technical selling mindset, presentation skills, quick to grasp new technologies. • Passion for technology, overachieving, active listening, communication, curiosity, coachability, resilience, collaboration, goal oriented. • Demonstrated technical expertise in current role with closed opportunities. • Ability to articulate key technical concepts to business stakeholders. • Technical hardware selling experience. Nice-to-haves • Deep knowledge of the mainframe market to build a trusted advisory role. • Training in IBM's zStack brand. • Understanding of how AI can be used in business applications in concert with the mainframe.
