Introduction This is a role with a combination of data foundation, data fabric and reporting skills. This Job can be Performed from anywhere in the US. Your Role And Responsibilities • Lead the data engineering architecture and solutions, ensuring scalability, quality, and security. • Supervise and mentor the data engineering team, providing technical direction and best practices. • Oversee SAP data integration and transformation (FI/CO, BW, S/4HANA, ECC). • Design and optimize data pipelines using modern tools (ADF, AWS Glue, Informatica). • Manage cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Databricks. • Ensure strong and reliable data models for BI tools (Power BI, SAC, Tableau). • Implement data governance standards, including metadata and security practices. • Partner with Finance to translate budgeting, forecasting, P&L, and journal processes into scalable data solutions. • Troubleshoot complex data issues and ensure data availability and reliability. • Drive continuous improvement and evaluate new technologies across the data ecosystem. Preferred Education Master's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with proven expertise in SAP data integration (FI/CO, BW, S/4HANA, or ECC). • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data pipeline tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Informatica). • Hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or similar). • Familiarity with finance and accounting processes — budgeting, forecasting, P&L, balance sheet, and journal data. • Experience designing data models for BI tools (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau). • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to data accuracy and business context..
